"I stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. I’d stay here again. It is a great value in a beautiful location. The virtual front desk was a new concept for me but worked out perfectly for my very late arrival. "

"As always, Alyeska delivers a high-quality lodging experience with beautiful surroundings and plenty of activities. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get through to room service between 12 and 5 p.m., though it was Memorial Day weekend, so the delay was understandable. It may help to have more staff scheduled during busy holiday periods in the future.
We also noticed the toilet continuously making noise, as if the water was running, and the hotel could use a few more “Do Not Disturb” signs for guests.
Other than those minor issues, our stay was wonderful, and we look forward to visiting again."
"Being able to use the handicap ramps on either side of the building the key card pad on doors broken last three visits. I’m in a wheelchair and need the ramps to get in and out handicap parking spots on either side of the hotel are wonderful except trying to get into that door being locked. I can’t get in the building so it’s a big inconvenience. Other than that. The hotel is perfect."
"This Inn has been closed for a few years due to a flood so I think they’re just not quite up and running.
Our room had no garbage can, no bath mat, no hair dryer and grossly soiled sheets that were quickly changed and the hotel charge was reversed.
The lobby bathroom had no hand soap and a full waste basket.
The restaurant is decent but offers no morning coffee. Coffee and breakfast are at a little place in front of the hotel. It was very good.
The owner is really wonderful and was very apologetic and helpful. He even had a staff member take us to the cruise terminal. I hate to give it 3 stars because I’m sure it’ll improve."
"Motel is conveniently located on the Anchorage Seward highway. Nice view from the room. Rooms are spacious and property is well maintained and clean. Easy self check-in and checkout."
"Hidden Resort Fee not informed before booking. Amenities supposedly from the Resort Fee are less straightforward to materialized. eg. $10 credit for meal was reneged because it wasn’t clear if the waitress was supposed to take it and deduct it from bill. In my case she didn’t. When I checked out the Front Desk refused to re-imburse. The Breakfast included voucher for a fee specified for ala cart, but actually it was for buffet. Bellman not around when you needed him to get your stored frozen box."
"I typically book rooms based off of reviews, and this place was rated high. I'm not sure why after our experience. It's a completely no contact check in and out process. We were supposed to be sent instructions prior to arriving, but we were never sent any. We arrived on site and there was no one to talk to. I called the number posted three times. Then I texted and called the after-hours number twice, as instructed by the voicemail. I emailed the email address that was listed plus tried to message the owner via Expedia messages and two hours later still zero replies. We were literally driving out of the driveway to find somewhere else to stay when I finally got a text sending me information we needed to get inside the door. The message stated their phones had been down. The place also appeared to be in a remodeling state, paint cans were everywhere and just stuff. The room was tiny but sufficient enough for one night sleep, but not a place we would ever stay at again!"
"Room was clean, one bed was very saggy, no shampoo or tissues in room, staff was courteous but we had trouble with our heating and was told there was no maintainence or person who could help us for 3 days…..luckily we were finally able to get it going ourselves. Bathroom was large and clean, but terrible water pressure.,sink drained very slow…They neglected to tell us that maid service was every other day so we came home to soggy towels the 1st night….room was reasonably quiet, tv was pretty good. Good location for airport and downtown. No breakfast or coffee, but none was promised…price was cheaper than most other nearby hotels."
