"Everything was ok. Nothing special. Only complaint...breakfast consisted of coffee, packets for oatmeal, and nutrigrain bars. I choose this hotel over others because of free breakfast. Don't be foolish like me"

"Very nice hotel close to Laguna Woods Village. Room was well furnished and comfortable, lacking only a mini-safe. Staff excellent. Our room had a problem with the window and after maintenance was unable to resolve it, they changed rooms for us promptly. Excellent breakfast and friendly service at the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend the Ayres Hotel for anyone staying in the area!"

"Clean rooms. Beautiful pool area and a lot of activities. We loved everything especially the cabanas with fans and tvs!"

"The guests were friendlier than the staff. None of the staff we ran into couldn’t be bothered with a nod - much less a smile. Only person that was friendly was the lady at the check in desk. The whole building is old and run down. Stains in the bathtub and bathroom floors. Faucet was leaking. The whole place needs an update and remodel. Kept getting kicked off wi-fi. Continental breakfast did not include hot eggs. Just cold boiled eggs. Good thing there were 2 restaurants across the parking lot. I wouldn’t stay here again. "

"The hotel was pleasantly done, our room was perfect , and loved that they offered shuttle service to Irvine spectrum for dinner . Roof top bar for drinks was a good night cap . Breakfast by pool with excellent service from Omar at honey and hive , then again at breakfast. "

"A little mix-up with our rooms, but front desk staff very helpful and had things sorted out quickly. Grounds well kept and kids had fun at the pool."

"We enjoyed our stay. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We brought our large dog with us and it was so nice the hotel is pet friendly. They provided toys, a food mat and bags for us to use during the stay. The room itself was a bit dated but provided plenty of space for us and our dog as well as a nice workspace. The common areas were updated and clean. Would definitely stay here again."
