"This resort was under construction so things were a bit of a mess. The parking lot was full of dirt and absolutely disgusting. Rooms were barely put together - cable not working or wet paint signs up. Kind of weird!"

"Penny's Motel was an awesome stay for me and my friends. The staff was lovely, food was great, rooms were clean and cozy but spacious at the same time. Check in and checkout was effortless, and help for anything was easily accessible. "This place is good value for money. Loved having a kitchen and the TV/fireplace area is lovely. It could use some TLC (peeling paint, old grout, etc). It was cozy and warm, great location. The only downside was the mattress on the bed. It was very uncomfortable and we did not sleep well. I ended up sleeping on the sofabed on the third night, which was a bit better but also not great. Would definitely return if the mattress was upgraded."
