The property was filthy, I had to change rooms 3 times after check out due to mold, dirt and mouse poop on beds, shower and couch. The staff then proceeded to make derogatory comments about me in front of me in a language they did not think I understood due to me making complaints about the mouse poop. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good side was the front desk worker when I first checked in. She was extremely helpful and sincere with her apologies due to the conditions of the room. She deserves to work somewhere much nicer and more appreciative of there staff.

It was a filthy run down hotel, on top of that the heat stopped working in our room and we had to spend 2 hours talking to the front desk and management and Expedia to attempt to get a refund for the freezing cold unsafe conditions, still waiting for a resolution

Hot tub water was very dirty looking . First room the door lock wasn't working. The second room there was dried urine on the toilet. The third room the bathtub wouldn't plug for our son to take a bath. The condition of the hotel was terrible and dirty .

Unable to get into our room at 2am after 2 trips to the front desk because the door lock was malfunctioning. Also no mirror anywhere in the room. How are you supposed to get ready doing hair and makeup?? A little warning ahead of time instead of an apology later would have been preferred.

The motel was quite nice, but there’s nothing to do in Gaylord. This is just a stop to get to the UP, Petoskey, Boyne, or Traverse City for day trips.

Not a bad hotel at all. For the money you can’t beat it. It’s a great deal. Not a four-star, but not paying for a four-star. Play some clean. Nice pool. Nice staff.

Good location, but our room had a hot tub in it and the carpet all around the tub and all the way to the bed was water-soaked. We had to wear shoes the entire time unless we were in the bed. The room also smelled of mold and mildew which is probably from the wet carpet. We went to a gas station and bought an air spray.

Time for some remodeling
Bedding was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is showing its age, including a very tight entrance. Shower head was broken and required maintenance to install a replacement. Toilet was rocking on its mounts. Staff was friendly and helpful, but occasionally hard to reach. Sometimes calls to the front desk would not go through, even if called from outside the building. The property looks and feels tired and in need of remodeling. However, I appreciate that I didn't have to pay extortionist rates on a fall weekend to attend a funeral.

Could barely even close the door
Well unfortunately this was the weirdest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. When I got there after a wedding it was late and the door wasn’t lined up so had to slam it shut which may have been heard by others. I noticed one of the things used to close the curtain was on the ledge so took a picture so they wouldn’t think I took it off. There was also a fake eyelash on the bathroom floor and one of the water cups wasn’t even in a plastic wrapping like the other one which was weird. The lotion bottle was empty and there was also just a few squares left of TP on the roll. Just overall weird with multiple things out of whack. When I checked out I told them about the door and other things and the lady asked the guy there if he knew about the door but someone should have known. You’d think the last person that stayed there would have said something. I told them all of this so they don’t try to charge me for something that was done before I got there and I didn’t tell them I took pictures just in case they try to charge me. I thought maybe they wouldn’t charge me for the room with all that I mentioned above. Just very weird.

Well it wasn't terrible but not great. Room could've used more cleaning (lots of spiderwebs in corners) trash not taken out. It was clean enough, the hallway definitely smelled of cigarette and weed smoke. No bugs though.

The pool was great. The room it self was clean just very musty smelling. Luckily we could open the window to air out the room. The beds were comfortable.
