"Charge $2.50 for safe and $11.50 to clean the room. Lots of rust, outlets do not work very run down. Could be nice if fixed up, pool was nice"

"The biggest pros of the North Beach Hotel are the location and amenities. It’s within easy walking distance to the beach, which was very convenient, and there are multiple pools on the property which was a nice bonus. However, I’m not sure if I would stay here again. The shower drain was clogged, so the water would build up while showering until my feet were basically sitting in dirty bathwater. When I notified the staff, they told me no one would be able to come fix it the same day, which I found pretty unacceptable. The bed was also extremely soft to the point where it felt like I was sinking in. Overall, the location is great, but the cleanliness and maintenance were questionable."

"I could see the ocean sideways thru my window. Hotel nice and clean, staff great, beach excellent. My only complaint--not enough bright light in the bedroom."

"Pet friendly… didn’t use pool… room was fine the major issue was sound… needs major sound proofing!! First night kids(young adults) talked and laughed until 4:30 in the morning. My husband was told at least 4 others complained. 2nd night neighbors loud and when returned from outing at 4 am sat outside and did somekind of drugs… could hear everything they said… way to noisy… otherwise would have been pretty good. Fridge didn’t stay cold and air conditioner noisy but it worked! "

"The hotel was nice and accommodated our stay, but there were things that could be improved. The first was the traffic in the circle drive to the entrance. We took an Uber from the airport and once we arrived at the hotel, it took 15 minutes just to make it through the circle drive to the main entrance, this stayed consistent throughout our stay. The shower in the room was clean but showed aging, there was a lot of calcium buildup on the shower head and was a bit nasty looking. The louvered sliding bathroom door that wouldn't close all the way, and louvered bathroom window didn't offer much privacy. The pool was nice but you has to get out there early to grab a chair, one day they ran out of towels by the pool. The restaurant, bar and pool cafe and bar were all very good and the staff was great. My room was clean everyday and the staff was great. Overall nice place, but for the money not what I expected a little more. I will probably investigate another place to stay on my next trip. "
