"Plafond de la salle de bain en lambeaux, le tapis brisé à plusieurs endroits, odeurs fortes, bain de la chambre non fonctionnel. En voyant le problème de fourmis sortant du tapis, j’ai demandé une nouvelle chambre, mais elle était en moins bon état encore. Dans la première chambre, il y avait une télé sans chaîne fonctionnelle, mais dans la seconde, ni télé, ni pomme de douche. Moisissures au plafond au-dessus du lit, évier troué par la corrosion, etc. Pire motel visité à vie. Nombreuses...

"A charming little hotel, but lacking in some basic conveniences, IE no elevator, which can be troublesome if you have much luggage. The room was nice and had all the conveniences you would need. There was no one on duty at all times in the lobby, so if you need something when no one is available you're on your own. The restaurant is amazing. Wonderful food and service. Both managers (night and breakfast) were very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was awesome."

"Comfortable beds, lots of pillows and towels. Linens clean. Room was quiet even though there was no vacancy that night. Corners of rooms obviously skipped by cleaners. Needs some TLC. Only one accessible plug near the beds. So even though it’s a room meant for 4 people, only one thing could be plugged in. So either my CPAP or my charger, not both. There was no alarm clock either. Breakfast was good with lots of food available but it was busy when we were there around 830am and no place for us...

"The Vittoria is solidly okay. The room was fine, but it had a musty smell and the television signal kept cutting in and out. The hotel could also stand to have 1-2 more elevators. Trying to get up to our room during check-in and down during check-out was an ordeal because both elevators were jammed with people. When we checked out we actually rode the elevator up just so we could get on one."

"WHAT a discovery! I loved my stay at Canalside -- the room was beautifully updated, but still had those historic squeaky wooden floors that remind everyone to be a little quieter (it worked!). The coffee maker produced great morning joe; the shower got hot almost immediately; the bed linens were soft and the towels were a perfect blend of absorbent and scratchy. I just wish I had asked the (very helpful, very personable) staff how to work the air conditioning...thank god they provided a...

"The building is interesting for the history. Our room was great, nice size, clean, but I recommend asking for a room without an adjoining door. I listened to our neighbour snore all night."

"Room was clean and affordable. Parking included and location was ideal in relation to the Peace Bridge. It would have been idea except for those who awake early and sit outside their rooms smoking, drinking and laughing as early as 6 am without being contested. Good luck sleeping beyond that point. Makes me wonder if there are long term residents living within the motel. Would have liked to see someone from management serve to limit the noise to the rest of the guests."
