As soon as we walked into the room a bug crawled out. Our first night we heard someone screaming for help and the sounds of them getting kidnapped at 3 am. There is also a cat on property unspayed constantly howling all night. Our room had thin walls there was the sound of some washing machines or some machine in the room near us that was running all night loudly. They allow homeless gangster people to hang around in the lobby and they are friendly with them and let them stay there. These people scope out your car and watch you enter the inn, made us feel unsafe. They locked us out of our room on our second night there we were very scared while waiting for them to open our room. Dont stay here to save money your risking your life.
We stayed there July 13-15 as well. This stay was a one-day extension added on at the last minute before we left home.
See my previous review. I would NEVER stay here again!
Where to start?
The place has all the charm of cell block #9. The place is surrounded on 3 sides by a 6ft fence topped with 2ft of concertina wire. All the entrances from outside are surrounded by cages with locked-gate entrances.
The grounds are unkempt.
The room had a musty smell (we used a whole can of Lysol). The curtains had holes. The furniture was mismatched. The bed was comfortable enough.
The TV had no cable/streaming channels. Only digital broadcast channels. Free outlets were at a premium and the lights had burned out bulbs (so the room was very very dark).
The tub was slippery when wet and there were no grab bars or slip mats. We found bugs (not cockroaches) in the bathroom.
There was a population of feral cats.
Some of the other guests spent a lot of every evening pretending to parent their feral (screaming) kids.
This was not a pleasant stay and VERY OVERPRICED for what the property actually delivered. I would NEVER stay here again!
J’ai vu des Coquerelles dans ma chambre la 2e nuit vers 1h. Aucune réponse de la reception. J’ai du dormir dans la voiture. Il y avait même un œuf de bebitte dans le lit.
Quiet and comfortable to stay over during holidays. I was lucky though that there isnt any disturbances. 4/5 stars because the Wifi connection at the upper floor is really bad. I always lost the connection
Someone had a key to my room and knocked in the morning. They didn’t wait and tried to come in then ran away when I got to the door. I called the front desk and they said all they could do was check the camera but he couldn’t do it then. I’ll never stay there again.
The property has Bob wire around it when you get out you step into a kitty litter box about 100 cats live in the property said something as a manager. He said they killed one this morning awful people addicted to drugs from 3 AM to 8 AM all over the place. My room was disgusting. The door lock was broken away from the wall. Very unsafe do not recommend disgusting just mortified! No ice at all on property and had an empty roll of toilet paper on arrival
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we didn't die.... but we felt like we were in the Bates Motel, I think there were some homeless people living there, the area isn't very safe, and the whole place just seems very rundown and sketchy. There were also motorcycles and cars revving all night and the walls were paper thin.
