"If you're visiting Duxford Imperial War Museum, or Cambridge, you won't find a better place to stay. Cambridge and the Duxford Airfield and Museum are only 30 minutes away, with very light traffic most of the time. The motel-like accommodation is great, clean and modern with everything you need. The staff are very affable, and the food is simple but very good. And of course there's a well-stocked bar. The prices are very keen, and there is a large car park. What more could you want?"

"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. "Well priced conveniently positioned hotel,everything that you would expect and more,breakfast was very good, and plentiful,the dining area was unnecessarily cool, almost cold,at breakfast,I am sure it could easily be adjusted.i will have no hesitation in returning."

"We did stay during heatwave but bedroom was too hot to sleep in although fans were provided. Ice was not available after bar closed to cool down drinks/water. Staff very friendly and in excellent location"

"Spa and pool were excellent used both . No air conditioning in our Deluxe room and the Dyson fan just didn’t help much at all . Shame really . Breakfast was good one day and not quite so good the next day ( different chefs they said ) . All staff at the 3 properties were really helpful especially the chauffeuse ."

"I was overall happy with the service I received & the cleanliness of the room. All the staff i encountered were very helpful & friendly. The only small criticism I have is that on my second day during breakfast, they ran out of pancakes. The pancakes were so delicious I was a bit frustrated, but I understand it wasn't the fault of staff directly."

"The rooms. at the Essex Golf and Country Club are very nice and super clean. Be aware there is no in-room ac that we could find and just the smallest desk fan in the room but perhaps this is only an issue for 3 weeks a year! We arrived late (9.30pm) and check was smooth, went to the room and unpacked and notice in the room directory suggested the bar was open until 10.30pm. We meander up only to be informed that last orders was at 10pm so we would only be permitted to purchase one drink. Then...
