"What can I say other than WOW! I booked this as a last-minute trip to join friends out there. From the moment I booked, they were attentive and wanted to be of assistance wherever they could. Once you arrive, you are greeted by the most friendly, welcoming, and attentive porter/doorman. He couldn’t go further for you if he tried, and whilst always with a smile and friendly demeanour. The check-in staff made the whole experience of checking in smooth and quick. They give you every bit of advice and information you need for your trip and are there to assist. The only thing I would pick is that to get ice to the room is impossible, and after checking out, I found out that to actually get it, you have to pay, which shocked me even as a Brit. Other than that, the room facilities/features, rooftop bar, spa, and being only a 75-room hotel, you feel like you’re at home but better! I have been mentioning this hotel to friends and family to come visit, but for sure, I will be staying with you again many more times."

"What a great location overlooking Figueira square. The room we had, 305, was very spacious, (almost suite like) clean modern and bright with excellent views of the square and great air conditioning, which was needed during our visit. the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and very helpful. the breakfast was light and just what you needed to start your day. You will be asked to book a half hour time slot for breakfast. As noted in the description, there are no lifts. the reception is on the second floor, we were travelling through Portugal for two weeks, so had two heavy bags of luggage. So I had a bit of exercise at the start of our stay and at the end. I didn't find it a problem and if you are travelling light, it won't be an issue. It's a city, so expect a bit of street noise. We were there over a few days of one of the Portugal world cup games, so there were lots of fans about. I slept well in the comfortable bed, so barely noticed."

"Helpful staff, happy to store our luggage until checkin. Room was a little tight with our extra luggage but we made it work. Had a great quiet room looking toward the pool, which I took the opportunity to use. Refreshing but a little weird swimming in front of other evening patrons coming for dinner and drinks, as they installed a temporary television at the end of the pool to screen the Football World Cup. Clean property the could use a good carpet clean in the hallway and the room mat had stains also. Nice hotel overall."
