"The staff were friendly and helpful. They provided information about resources available. Loved the old town feel. It reminds me of a Moroccan riad. Breakfast is good. The location is great. It’s close to the ferry. It has a nice rooftop to watch the sunset. It’s close to the airport."

"The location and hotel were fantastic. We didn't much care for the breakfast as it was missing some essential meat items and very heavy on bread. They had eggs but it just wasn't the best so we went out for breakfast the second day. The hotel is beautiful, well situated and has three pools but there's no bar area and I don't think they sell any alcohol so we ended up next door at Livingstones alot"

"The Residence was the perfect spot to celebrate my 40th birthday. The deluxe garden view with the private pool was exact atmosphere my husband and I were looking for. The hotel is extremely clean and they even offer room cleanings twice a day. And we also loved the different themed dinner options each night along side with a live band performance! The staff make you feel at home and apart of the family. Nico always greeted us with a warm smile and helped us capture precious moments. The location is a little far from main attractions but I promise it’s worth it. Thank you to all the staff that made our visit to Zanzibar so special!♥️"
