"Came in for one night and wanted to enjoy the stay. Choose this property for the pool and specially the hot tub. As we started using the hot tub (pool was a bit cool), the pumps were not working and the water was on the higher side of tepid. Still enjoyed being there as it was. Someone came (Nick) and we asked if he knew how to start the system. He went to work and got the water to warm up a lot more and the pumps to move the water, even though "bubbles" were not present. His effort was really appreciated. Breakfast was as normal as it can be for La Quinta. Plentiful of choices and even more. It was near shutting down (9 am) the breakfast and the attendant (Shirley) promptly realized people were still coming down. She prepared additional items and made a fresh pot of coffee and apologized for the inconvenience even though it was after the closing of breakfast. After checkout, we realized we had left something important medicine in the room's refrigerator. I called and asked to have it checked and housekeeping recovered it for us. We went back mid day to retrieve it without any issues. Thankful for the employees being so helpful at this Tulare La Quinta."

"The front desk area was nice. It's right across the street from the airport. Had to sign a code of conduct statement when checking in, which seemed weird. The rooms were in a separate building that has a security gate entrance. Seemed a little sketchy. The carpets were gross and very stained. The room smelled musty and the whole place needs to be updated. Bed was comfortable. Linens were clean. Wouldn't stay here again, but I guess you get what you pay for."

"Went to Sequoia National Park....the first thing you want to do is check-in and relax after a long day it was about 10:00 pm when we got there. Checked in went to our room and the first thing we saw when we walked in was roaches!!! We turned right back around and checked out asap we were not going to stay the 2 nights absolutely not!!! Imagine taking some home with you!! Also, did not feel safe at all there was peope hanging out on properly that looked like they were up to no good!!! We were stuck with no room with kids but luckily we found something else. The guy that checked us in/out was ok with giving us the refund I'm assuming because they have those guest that are ok with it and those that aren't! Worst experience ever!! Oh and didn't take pictures because all I wanted to do was get out of there!!"

"The hotel is very run down. Not worth the price paid. Breakfast is very minimal and the pastries taste old. I have not stayed in a hotel, more like a motel, in 20 years or so. My friend reserved the hotel for us and said next time she will double check the hotel or ask friends for recommendations. Pictures are deceiving."
