"Charming hotel in a beautiful and peaceful fjord setting. The historic character of the building combined with modern comfort made our stay very special. The rooms were clean and cozy, the staff were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Our room wasn’t at the front building if you are lucky enough to have a room there you can enjoy the view. Parking was easy and free. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning, especially in the morning. A perfect place to relax while exploring...

"We stayed 2 nights in the room with balcony during end April. Probably it was still off peak so it seems we were the only ones in the second night. The town was quite busy in the day but very quiet at night. Nice view and have the vibe of Nordic fjord."

"We left a day early as the accommodation was not accurately described or pictured. This is a hostel and not a 3 star hotel. No staff, and slow to respond to email. Room not as pictured, cold and dingy, both hand soap and shower wash dispensers were empty, no kettle as advertised, TV with no channels, socket by bed not working, kitchette for shared use was unclean. So many good hotels in Iceland so don't waste your time staying here."
