"The hotel is old, rooms are old, however, it was very, very quiet, safe and clean. The breakfast was excellent, very hearty with lots of variety. A great place to stay right outside of Freiburg with easy driving access to the old city. We would stay here again."

"A nice, quiet hotel in traditional style, in an excellent location. Close to the train station and the city center. Accessible by car. Parking space is limited. Nice room, excellent service and a very beautiful breakfast room. The breakfast itself was quite good but not extraordinary."

"This was a fantastic hotel in a wonderful city. Rooms were excellent, the hotel lobby area was very spacious and comfortable with lots of seating, and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of foods. The location is very close to a #2 tram stop, which takes about 10 mins to get to the station. Across from this stop is a huge supermarket, Kaufland, and stops for the more direct #3 tram are about 5 mins walk away. Brilliant place to stay."
