"This hotel far exceeded our expectations it was more like a mini resort and wished we could have stayed longer than the 3 nights.. perfect for exploring the local attractions and only 40-45mins to Alton Towers. The room we had was a 2 bed apartment in the main building, which was much bigger than the photos. The amenities were awesome and there’s a range of free activities and entertainment that was put on whilst we were there. The staff were also amazing, we will be back for sure :-)"

"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great! The bedroom was clean and tidy. "Air-conditioning in the room wasn't working in all rooms in the hotel on a day that was 34 degrees. Staff blamed the high temperature for reducing the effectiveness of the Air-conditioning system. Next day was a more manageable 24 degrees celsius and still inoperable air conditioning in the rooms. Absolutely unacceptable. The least a guest deserves in a hotel is comfort. Better invest in a proper Air-conditioning system before the business is run to the ground."

"Location of the hotel is amazing, the bars and selection of drinks are great, the dinner and breakfast was great and the aesthetics of the hotel are so nice. Also a band played on the evening we stayed, which was very good and popular. Room was a bit warm and the fan was old so not too useful, but the stay was during a heatwave."

"Breakfast was good. Accommodating for food intolerances. Bathroom was not as clean as expected when we arrived and the shower constantly dripped. We stayed for 2 nights but got a note under the door that due to unforeseen circumstances they were unable to clean our room after our first night despite seeing two ladies cleaning near to our room. No one manning the bar so helpful reception lady made us some coffees. Pool was a nightmare but it was half term!"
