Very interesting property. Swiss Theme. Separate, well equipped cabins for your stay. Very peaceful and scenic: babbling brook, wildlife. We were there on a Tuesday & Wednesday evening so couldn’t experience the Club, etc.
Convenient to Fredericksburg town center, et. al.
Is it worth $330. + per night? Probably not, but I am glad we experienced the property.
The cabins are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. All the comforts of home, but they also elude an old world charm. Highly recommended for those who want to get away, but are actually only minutes away from great wine, shopping, and German cuisine, all nestled in the heart of the Texas hill country.
Even though you're on the edge of Fredericksburg, you feel as though you are in the country. If you love animals, this is the place. Cats, ducks, etc. all are very friendly. Little interaction with the staff, but responsive when you need something. Restaurant and music on the grounds.
This is a hidden gem just outside Fredericksburg. I’m so glad we found this place. The entire area was so peaceful and beautiful. Between the beautiful wild flowers, ducks and deer, and the creek running through the property you are taken back into a simpler time. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and lovely. We loved the wrap around porch with rocking chairs. We were graced with a small rain storm and hear it hit the roof at night was so relaxing. We will be coming back here for good, no need to look anywhere else.
Barons CreekSide is a very charming property. It’s close to downtown Fredericksburg yet very quiet and quaint.
The room is very spacious and has everything you need.
Will definitely go back!
The owner, Daniel, is so friendly and accommodating. He personally checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodations were perfect, cozy and comfortable.
