"Very pleasant stay for 1 night attending a business meeting locally. They can use an extra pair of hands behind the bar for the early hours of the evening when there was a bit of a queue. Otherwise couldn't fault the place and will gladly be back again."

"Room clean and looked good but was stifling. No adjustment on the thermostat. Portable air cooler in the wardrobe. Switched on terrible smell. Checked inside water hopper was covered in stinking slime. No hot water to the sink. Terrible attitude of a couple of staff members. Breakfast was a sham. Tiny side plates for breakfast. Asked for a second coffee and was told they had run out and weren't making any more. This was 9.15 am. Barman tried adding on extra drinks. Would never return."

"The room was fine, not exceptional, for me, as I was only staying for 6 nights. I hadn't booked breakfast as it was only offered on a Sunday, but there is a "Sandwich Stop" attached to the hotel in the car park. Parking was adequate, but trying to exit onto the busy main road was a nightmare, as the hedges were so overgrown and hadn't been trimmed, so it was impossible to see traffic approaching from both directions. I arrived about 4.10 p.m., but there was no one on Reception, and at first I...

"If you are visiting Sheffield you can’t go wrong with a stay at this hotel. So easy into sheffield( we were at the Arena) lovely and clean and new. Fab staff and service and food was great in restaurant."

"The first night was noisy a car came into car park at 2am and was blasting music out and guest or two banging doors and knocking on door The second night was better. Only a two night stay for an event. Housekeeping on Saturday did not replace complimentary tea and coffee bin not emptied and beds not straightened up after 1st night. It's basic no thrills hotel. Also lift out of order."

"Excellent views of the park with lots of animals to see. Hotel room was dusty, bits on floor, looking run down with paint missing. Not very big and no chair to sit on only low stool which I couldn't use due to being disabled. Lots of tea and coffee available. Breakfast was good."

We finally found a few customers who told us that only member of staff doing front of house was getting ice cream for their daughter. When she appeared we asked about food but was told that the kitchen closed at 2 and that we would need to go out if we were hungry. Checking us in, she was very pleasant but hadn’t read my email sent a couple of days before to say we were bringing a dog which didn’t smack of...

"Fabulous stay. Lovely, spacious, spotless twin room with very clean, modern en suite. Everywhere is extremely clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and a fantastic outside area for sunny days. Staff very friendly and helpful. Generous meal portions and absolutely delicious! We joined in the quiz night and were even greeted warmly (and helped!) by the locals. We will definitely be staying again!"

"A nice hotel off the M1. Plenty of parking. A warm welcome on arrival. All staff were very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Very handy that there was air con in the room. Disappointing that the windows were locked, they should NOT be. Cooked and continental breakfast was good. A excellent hotel due to its location for business or touring."

"The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"
