"The room needs to be cleaned better, foot of dust behind the sofa and looked like previous guests bottle tops poked out from under it. We were checked in by what can only be described as a rude person he didn't look at me once and for someone who is deaf and lipreads it's pretty annoying. I know i dont carry a flashing sign but your supposed to talk to your guest. Julie however in the breakfast room was wonderful works so hard and was so pleasant an greeted us with a smile got us a table ready. The gentleman from the front desk was dragging his feet nothing was a rush an was busy bad mouthing staff to guests behind us. "

"Great communication from owners. Warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, bathroom spacious, fantastic shower. Breakfast ordered the night before was delicious, good selection of breakfast items to choose from. Would'nt hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Paul and Sophie for a lovely stay ❤️ "

"Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet."

"The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our dog to have some fresh air, piece and quiet. The hot tub was lovely, as was the cottage itself. We hope to stay again."
