"Beautiful hotel in the perfect location to explore Savannah. The staff was friendly, especially the valets! Definitely recommend getting a balcony room to overlook the city. "

"While it is an older building, the room could have been cleaner (for example: base boards were dirty, chipping paint sitting on the windowsills). Front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The pillows do leave a lot to be desired; they are foam and not comfortable for us. There is a water jar in the lobby, which is nice, little plastic cups you can fill and take. "

"Stayed two nights and was very surprised that there was no housekeeping done on our room. Staff was polite. Location convenient. Bar food menu was underwhelming."

"My sister and I stayed from Wednesday night through Tuesday morning, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Housekeeping never came to our room a single time during our entire stay. We repeatedly had to go down to the front desk to request clean towels and basic supplies, and even after mentioning it multiple times, no one was ever sent to service the room. We also used the parking garage down the street, which the hotel partners with. Each day, guests are required to notify the hotel before noon if they parked there. One day we left early and returned late, and I forgot to tell them. I understood that mistake was on me, and I contacted the garage directly and paid the $30 fee. However, the hotel then tried to charge me another $32 for the same night, saying I “knew the rules.” I did know the rule, and that’s why I paid the garage. Being charged twice for one night of parking was unreasonable, and they refused to remove the extra charge. I ended up paying $62 for one night of parking. To “make up” for the fact that housekeeping never came to our room, they removed a $32 charge for the morning we checked out—at 8:30 AM. That hardly felt like meaningful compensation for six nights without housekeeping and the double parking charge. The hotel is in a nice location and the breakfast was good, but overall the lack of service and the way the parking situation was handled means I would not stay here again."

"Room was quite small and the bathroom was tiny. We knew the square footage of the room but the bathroom was just too small. 2 ppl CANNOT be in there at the same time. Rooftops were nice. Parking is costly, $50 per day/overnight. Overall the stay was alright. Savannah is a nice & pleasant city to walk & explore. Lots of restaurants, historical buildings, and nightlife. We would go again. "

"Unfortunately, this Marriott Hotel was not as we expected. The staff were not helpful. No one would answer the phone when we tried to call ahead of our trip there. The maid service never cleaned our room, so we had to hunt down towels, etc, every other day for a week. The breakfast was mediocre, and the area was always dirty. The entrance/sitting area, was always dirty. The valet parking was horrible and you had to wait forever for your car, sometimes, over 40 minutes. I told the front desk each day, and all they said was I'm sorry."
