The ocean view and rooftop pool and bar were amazing! The clean room and excellent service and amenities were much appreciated. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast foods as well.
I love this hotel!! What a great place to stay for business or vacation. The best staff ever and they are always willing to help you at anytime!
I love the bedsheets and pillows ❤️
Breakfast was a highlight for sure. Staff were friendly, room was clean and lobby is gorgeous.
If you’re reserving a normal room don’t expect a 5 star room but it is very nice still. I would stay here again
The Grand Marquis is a wonderful hotel on the Fortaleza Beta Mar. This location has very well equipped rooms, excellent restaurants, and an included breakfast that is one of the best you will find anywhere. This is my second time here, and I am very glad thaty wife and I returned.
Staff, Anna and Manager Mariana were amazing. Great team and service was excellent all around. Top notch operation. Definitely will come back.

The lobby doesn't smell well I believe it's due to the fish pond in the entrance. The bed was tough and uncomfortable. The breakfast was good, and the service was better than at many places in Fortaleza. Overall, it's an okay place compared to other hotels in the area. But it is definitely not a five-star.
Staff are very accomodating and friendly. They let us check in before noon and check out at noon which was very convenient. The rooftop pool and bar is amazing. We walked outside by the boardwalk and felt very safe. My wife said the hotel offered the "best continental breakfast she ever had".
Everyone is always so helpful and kind. Very respectful from the valet attendants to the house cleaner and the reception desk. Always treat me as a valued and important guest. I truly love staying here when I’m in Fortaleza.
The service and the food were excellent. For those that don't speak Portuguese, most staff spoke good English. At the onsite restaurants they also had photos with the menu and multiple language options.
The spa was very relaxing and included a steam room and sauna. The jacuzzi was inside the spa area and looked out onto the pool and the ocean.
The beach nearby wasn't the nicest, but there was a nice biking and walking/running path along the beach and places to eat and hang out.

Great service and rooftop but not a 5 star
Considered the higher end hotel for the city, but that doesn’t make it a 5 star hotel. The staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms are old and wet. The roof top was redone and is the best part of the hotel. But the drinks in the rooftop are just awful! Stick to a beer or a caipirinha. The daily breakfast was amazing and worth the stay! Just wish they’d fix the rooms and bathrooms.
