"It was very neatly presented when we walked in exhausted from the day walking , going on trains &carrying about 6 Heavey bags … and there were shops underneath that were last minute souvenirs and super close to the airport and train station so it was pretty nice and I highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay if you are going to the airport / train station. "Booked to be close for morn-flight out. Hotel also has its own shuttle bus. Book for pickup or drop off at terminals. Bar and restaurant have good drinks and food as well. "

"Tokyo Stay Gotanda was perfect for our 2 week stay in Tokyo! First of all, Gotanda station is a 3 minute walk making it super easy to get around by train. The peace and quiet is unmatched to other hotels. Tokyo Stay is so quiet that I never heard one other person outside our room during the 2 weeks we were there. I really loved that our room had a window that opened and allowing fresh air in. I'm not a fan of being trapped on a top floor with no outside air. The room was definetely a bit smaller than what I think US visitors are used to but that's normal for Tokyo hotels if you're on a budget. Staff were friendly and welcomed us back every evening. Overall, if you're looking for quiet, low cost and a convenient location to stay near Tokyo proper, Tokyo Stay Gotanda is perfect. I read that Gotanda Station gets risky at night, but I never saw anything unsavory. We even arrived at 1am the first night and felt totally safe. 10/10 would recommend for your first, or any visit!"

"This is NOT a five-star hotel. There are reviews that state the hotel is a bit outdated and needs a refresher. That is an understatement. Just absolutely misleading. It is a 3 1/2 star hotel at best. An it would be just fine for a 3 1/2 star, but this is absolutely a disappointment believing you are getting and paying for a five star hotel. "
