"I was not too happy with what we received for a welcome coming to the property. The staff seemed unhappy. Amenities were not that great for the price. It was not a great anniversary gift to find trash left in our room and old towels on the floor when we walked into what was supposed to be a room ready to go."

"Was ok nothing special. Pool was to cool n lighting in pool area was not great. Had to go ask for towels at front desk. Issue after check out with payment still fighting with and nobody getting back to me about. Several emails and a few calls in already with no refund yet. Will look at different place next visit to red wing if not resolved today"

The location of the hotel between the river and the historic downtown area is awesome. For an easy getaway destination, Red Wing, MN and the St James Hotel are a perfect combination."
