"Buffet consisted overly sweetened cereals and prepared breakfast sandwiches, not fresh foods. There was only apples and whole oranges, plus o.j.; only regular coffee and tea, no decaf; mostly white breads, instant oatmeal. Ugh! Staff spoke very little English, repeated requests for additional decaf packets were answered individually, but not carried over day-to-day. I had to get some from desk each day, and last day there was none left in stock. How does that happen? The bathroom was very large, for a person with mobility issues but cold (no heat lamps), limited hooks for towels or clothing, limited toiletries. Restocking bathroom was inconsistent each day, something always missing or ignored. Light socket on lamp base wasn't secured and didn't recharge phone overnight. Very poor selection of brochures about local Pasadena sites and desk had no local knowledge of eateries or getting around by bus. Not everyone drives."

"The staff was amazing! Everyone was helpful and patient. Great location to explore all of LA. Lots to see and do walking distance from the hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Parking is easy. Superb experience. We will stay again. "

"Fridge but no microwave, bathroom had faint sulphur smell emanating from the water. Staff was excellent and attentive. Location is outstanding amongst great restaurants and shopping."

"This hotel has really slipped downward. Toilets run constantly, rooms smell like urine, repairs are shoddy, and the place feels greasy and filthy. We have gone there for years, but will NOT stay there again."

"I love the location and the amenities the hotel has to offer. Staff was nice and friendly and allowed me to check in early after a long travel day and waived the fee. My last three visits have all been the same, my room is right by the elevator and or faced the street causing me to be woken up at all hours of the night by guests and pedestrians outside of the room making it unpleasant and disruptive at times. I know that the rooms arent great for those who book through a third party and it shows. I just wish there were better rooms available when booking through a 3rd party."

"I want to sincerely thank the team at Hotel Glendale for making my stay feel so special during a really transitional time in my life. Kae from the Front Desk Guest Relations team and Bri from Housekeeping Team have both shown such genuine kindness and care. The way they carry themselves and the warmth they share truly makes a difference—it’s the kind of hospitality that makes someone feel seen and welcomed, not just like another guest passing through. For me, the value of a hotel stay has never been about price or luxury, but about the feeling a place gives you. Hotel Glendale has a warmth and comfort that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. While I’ve briefly explored a few other hotel properties during this time after experiencing a house fire and searching for my next home, it’s made me realize how special this place really is. Even being at a beachfront property on a high floor right now, I still find myself thinking about the cleanliness, care, and heart that exists at Hotel Glendale. The thoughtful details around the hotel,the vending machines on each floor, the fresh H₂O station, and the latte machines, are small touches that make the experience even more comforting. "Room was clean when we got there, plus the rooms were cleaned every morning. We appreciated that. There was wifi. We didnt need to use the AC but there was one."
