"The property was perfect for my sister and I.
A lovely light,cosy room with everyting needed. There was even a little fridge in the room with fresh milk and bottled water, also a proper jar of coffee, sachets of yorkshire tea and selection of biscuits. We also had a lovely vase of pink carnations in the room.
The garden was so pretty with a little pond and waterfall. I love nature so it was perfect.

"Me and my husband stayed for 2 nights as we were going to York races for the day. It was perfect for us room was fabulous clean and modern and a great size. The self service check in was so easy and the self service breakfast was great. Limited free parking to the rear of the hotel was an added bonus. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again for the races next year 😊"
"Lovely country pub. Large comfortable bedroom. Beautiful outdoor seating area/gardens. Had a couple of great local beers but did not eat. Super friendly landlord and locals."
"Very nice people here! It is an old guesthouse so the fact I was on the 3rd was ok, the stairs were solid but narrow so if I had more luggage than a small backpack it would have been hard. No issues with the other floors though. So to restate floor 3, room 10 quaint room for person with very little luggage. "
"Very good location in center of York. Great view of York Minster. The family room is spacious for family of 5. Remodeled bathrooms with good shower facility.
The only downside is uneven hardwood floor makes noises. And less sound isolation. Mattress is too bouncy. "

Excellent communication from owner Catherine when I enquired about leaving the car there before check in time as we were attending York Races.Catherine arranged early check in and advised on taxis to the Races.
The whole B&B is very tastefully decorated with very high quality everywhere beds are an absolute dream!
Breakfast is outstanding freshly cooked beautifully presented and top quality!
This is a working farm with calves loving life and Betty the cat...
"We had a great experience at the parsonage hotel , comfortable clean and great service , especially liked the swimming pool and spa , friendly helpful staff definitely would go back , also very easy bus routes for York and cheap fares, so no expensive car park or hassle of getting into the city.👏😊"
"Located in a very beautiful location within walking distance of several points of interest, such as The Shambles, York Minster, the City Walls, bars, and restaurants. The breakfast served in the morning is truly exquisite. The room and the hotel in general seemed very clean, in excellent condition despite being an old building, and safe. The attention and friendliness of the front desk and breakfast staff were exceptional!"
