"There are parts of the exterior of the building that need some attention but overall it is a fabulous building standing above sloping gardens. Inside is beautiful. The bar and restaurant have sea views and are warm, cosy and welcoming. The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. Our room had a sea view. It was spotless as was the en suite. "

"It’s been two years since I last stayed at the marine - the rooms are a little more tiered than I remember but the staff were top class! The guy who welcomed us in was super lovely and helpful when it came to us choosing dinner. The ‘posher’ restaurant menu is significantly better than the bar menu. I did order a pasta dish and the pasta was not what was described on the menu it was fusilli pasta which was giving kids dinner - would have been nice for them to mention, although I was hungry. Not really a complaint as it was lovely. "

"Used as an overnight stay for a Wedding at hotel next door. Rooms were spotless very comfortable and the staff were lovely. Delicious breakfast would definitely come back for a longer stay"

"This was advertised as 3.75 miles from where I needed to be and after payment showed where it actually is! 3.75 miles across the water and a 4.5 hour road trip! Hotels.com declined to refund me. No doubt the hotel is lovely but the location description from hotels.com is atrocious."
