"For the price, the lodge is a good place to stay at Harvey's Point. The rooms are compact but clean and have a shower, tea making facilities and enough space for clothing. We had a nice lake view and the lodge is surrounded by parkland and trees. The only drawback was walking in the open to the main hotel if the weather was poor., but umbrellas are provided. "Expedias states there is a restaurant and pizza may be available at the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel. You have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening. It mentions there is a bar at the hotel. There is no bar. What it means is there is a room where you can bring your own beer/wine that you’ve bought elsewhere. The rooms are cold and it takes an age to get any hot water. On a positive, the young staff we met were very friendly, though both had only been there...

"Clean, quiet and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was great. Pool/hot tub looked nice enough but was a little underwhelming. Hot tub was a bit small and crowded and the requirement for a swim cap to use the pool was unexpected. Swim caps were available for purchase but if they're required I rhink that they should be complimentary. Overall I would say that it was excellent!"
