"Lovely hotel on the island of Finnøy. We had great weather, but I expect weather can be a bit harsh since it is basically next to the Atlantic Ocean. However the travel from Molde area with ferry ( check route times in advance) and island hopping in to Ålesund or opposite is well worth a trip. The restaurant offers a great 3 course dinner too. And they have a lovely cafe /bar area calles “butikken” except it isn’t a shop anymore. It is well worth trying out the pool. Just remember that a day...

"Fin beliggenhet. Enkel innsjekk. Dessverre vi fikk rom ved siden av inngangsdøra. Det var varmt og vi kunne ikke åpne vinduene på grunn av røyklukt. Røyke plassen var rett utenfor. Det var alltid noen der som røyka til ut på natt. Det luktet mugg på badet og noe i leiligheten når vi kom. Vann renner ut fra dusjen. Soverommene er små, lite plass til å gå rundt senga. "We arrived just after the kitchen closed after having travelled a long way . Given it was my birthday I was hoping for a special meal . When I told the receptionist it was my birthday the chef said I will sort it for you . He prepared us a delicious meal of fish soup and king prawns and pasta with homemade butter . It was truly delicious and I would say Michelin star level . What a kind man . The breakfast was equally delicious with homemade muesli and homemade biscuits with the normal extras and even freshly cut sandwiches and freshly baked pastries . The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful .the downstairs decor was modern annd our room was big annd spacious with comfortable beds . All in all I would throughly recommend . Without a doubt the best food we have eaten in Norway 😃😃"
