"This is a beautiful hotel furnished entirely in craftsman style. It’s very comfortable, quiet, and serves a great breakfast.
We had dinner at the hotels restaurant - it’s a first class steakhouse with terrific food and attentive service. We’ve eaten there many times and it’s always good. It’s great to just stay at the hotel so we could enjoy an extra glass of wine with desert!"
"Wonderful staff, spacious rooms: especially the bathroom. All recently remodeled ( we were in the north tower). Walk to everything. Free parking and quick drive to all colleges.
Only feedback is that the aircon was very loud. But I still slept well. Maybe provide glasses and cups instead of disposables and more moisturizer. There was only a small sachet for a room of 3 people. "
"Parkview Hotel is close to the Syracuse University campus. The rooms are well appointed and a really good size. Parking (a premium in the downtown area) is included as well as a breakfast. The staff were very friendly and I recommend the hotel."
"Everything great.
Only disappointment was complimentary breakfast buffet from 8 to 10. Get there before 9:30 or you will be scraping scraps from the pans. Attendant looked at them before me, closed the lids and did nothing. What was left was inedible."
"Check in was super easy and the guest services rep was so nice! Had questions about the parking and i asked if i could get a room with a good view and the view was great! I believe her name was Abigail, i hope i am correct. "
"What a treat to be able to find this gem! We have been riding our bicycles along the Erie Canal Trail for the past week and this place was a perfect stop for us to rest and recharge. Let’s start with the staff, they are first class and really make you feel at home. The rooms were outstanding and beds extremely comfortable. Once cleaned up, we made our way down to the restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service was outstanding and food as good as it gets. We all agree that Rochester and the...
"The only way hung I can say we were on the 3rd floor and who ever was staying on the 4th floor above us had kits jumping off the bed and running around and it was load down in our room but that was only one night. "
"Perfect for what we needed. The woman at the front desk who was ALSO running around the dining area during breakfast didn’t miss a neat. I wish I remembered her name. She surely took so crap but with all the grace in the world. Definitely need more staff.
Hall was dark and a bit musty, sink water smelled of sulfur when turned on, stained “dust ruffles” on one of the beds. "
