Great location and a beautiful boutique hotel. A couple of small items like the shower diverter fell off, but the staff were very nice to deal with. They have a beautiful lounge area where we were able to sit with friends and drink our own wine even though they had a bar to sell their own. Fabulous atmosphere!

Step back in time in modern comfort

Amazing! We booked on the way there. Arrived within 10 minutes and it was so much more than we expected. Super friendly staff, lobby / lounge and rest of common areas were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all modern amenities

Too many choices to treat customers poorly.

Overall a nice hotel but I was bike-packing and they didn’t want to let me keep my bicycle in my room. It’s a very expensive bike that would be difficult to replace during a trip if something were to happen. Additionally my on bike baggage is difficult to remove. I insisted I’d be keeping it in my room and they relented but not without the desk clerk acting put out by the request.

Very disappointed with the bar menu and cocktail menu, not able to eat in the hotel. Booked 3 double rooms and one room had to be changed due to problem with bath and shower, in another of our rooms we had to get the shower fixed as it did not work at all then the third room was made up as a twin and not a double. A disappointing experience. The hotel rooms need checking in general as we all had at least one problem in our rooms.

We have been returning customers in this hotel for a few years now, we have to start saying that the staff are always friendly and helpful, so kudos to them.. What I have found out is that due to the terrible storms they have experienced a lot of water damage, the room where I was staying, the water was inside the walls and around the windows, this was covered behind the curtains, there was also mold building up inside the walls which I could smelled it as soon as I have entered the room; the same day I went to the receptionist and she gladly found a room in a lower floor, no water damage but the toilet wasn’t working properly, and only because the hotel was fully booked due to a bicycle race happening in the city that weekend we couldn’t ask for a better room. The staff was doing their best to pleased everyone, I understand that this is a very difficult times due to the situation but the hotel should have someone check all the rooms and make sure that they are a okay to receive guests. I hope they get it together here soon and become again the clean and fabulous boutique hotel they used to be.

Nice place. Clean spacious rooms. Ours had a balcony, which was nice. Only problem was at checkout. The front desk said we needed to pay, even though we pre-paid through Expedia. I refused, which caused a small kerfuffle. I opened the expedia app and chatted with a live agent... who called the hotel directly. Seems like the arrangement between the hotel and Expedia was not workin. Expedia refunded the hotel, then i paid the hotel directly.
