"Nice homestead but there was no mention of shared facilities (ie a single toilet & shower) to accommodate the entire house when booking. Other guests decided to fry up some fish late at night and the smell permeated into the bedroom, very unpleasant but guess we cant fault the host for this. Our bedroom was right next to the shared bathroom and soundproofing was limited! Bedding was clean but found a random sock and some other bits which implies a surface clean only between guests. "We stayed at 10 different hotel/hostels all the way around Iceland and this one was by far the best. Clean rooms, great showers, excellent common areas, and the staff was great. Nikita from Slovenia was the best of the best! Smiling welcome, awesome personality- amazing to talk to! I would go back to Iceland just to stay here and talk with Nikita for hours. Stay here!!!!!!"

"Appartement spacieux, propre et bien équipé mais le cadre est un peu glauque. Gros soucis à l'arrivée car le logement avait fait l'objet de 2 réservations et les autres ont pu entrer dans notre logement pendant que nous dormions... heureusement une personne su staff était sur place. Bin rapport qualité prix malgré tout."

"Beautiful Views of the lake and surrounding area. Staff was friendly. The owners Mrs. Christine and her Husband, who is the dinner time chef were very kind. The food at night was good. Breakfast was very good and the morning staff was super nice! Little bar for drinks in the lobby. Sitting area and restaurant in main building. Rooms had a full glass window wall and door (with black out curtains) to enjoy the view. Refrigerator, work desk. Sitting chairs and a table. The bed was comfortable and...

"Breakfast was great! I wouldn't recommend staying in one of the "cabins". Bathroom was too small to turn around in and the water was undrinkable. We haven't had that problem anywhere else with tap water in iceland. Went to the main hotel bathroom and filled my cup and it was fine."

"This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra...

"Friendly and helpful staff. Good Breakfast. Hot tub in scenic setting. The room with private bath and mountain view. The location was a little bit remote off a dirt road, which was not well maintained, but very scenic drive to get in there. Make sure you arrive in daylight. This was one of our favourite accommodations on our Ring Road tour. Hoped to see the northern lights, but got too good a rest. :)"
