"We stayed here for two nights and we were astounded how good the hotel was for the price that we paid. The room was ample size, spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. The food (both breakfast and dinner) were excellent and great value for money. We have already booked to return next year. "Clean room, very helpful staff. Overall a very positive experience except that a rat ran across the parking lot from the smokers area into the bushes while we were standing there waiting for a cab to take us to dinner at about 6:30 pm. Kind of made me wonder….."

"We had a lovely few days over the bank holiday weekend. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and both times the food was excellent with impeccable service. Breakfast was equally as good. The staff could not be more helpful. We had an amazing view from our room looking out to sea. Would definitely recommend."

"A great stay. Away from it all authentic in the middle-of-nowhere stay, with only 6 miles from Woodbridge. Len excelled with making us feel absolutely at home. A wonderful host. Fascinating story about the farm buildings, his beekeeping, and life in general. A wonderful host. Breakfast was excellent, Barbara doing a great job in the kitchen. We found a great route from the local village by the river into Woodbridge. If you want to get away from it all this place has it. "

"Booked for an overnight stay in Ipswich for early morning appointment. The hotel was central close to local bus terminus and close to a wide range of restaurants and bars.
