"This was one of the highlights of our trip. The stay at Quinta do Vallado was superb. The room was beautiful, with a porch and lawn chairs overlooking the vineyards, the room came with a full bottle of port wine, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly, the food delicious. We apprecaied the 24 hour honor bar. The grounds just so beautiful."

"This was one of the nicest properties I’ve stayed at in years. A truly special place that is unmatched. The views, the amenities, the accessibility, the cleanliness, the beautiful rooms, the nature, the wildflowers everywhere, the farm to table dining. There isn’t enough positive things I can say about this place. If I’m ever in Portugal again - I’ll be sure to make a special trip to the Douro Valley just to stay here."

"What a gorgeous property. Spa options are amazing. The wine and port tasting was top-notch. With only one night, we really did not get to experience all of it. I would recommend at least two. Coming in September or October during the winemaking season would be fantastic. The staff was extremely polite and knowledgeable and helpful"
