The residence is nice with great views of the lake and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our one recommendation would be to provide better basic essentials in the kitchen area. A large frying pan or cooking griddle would have been very helpful, and we actually bought and left a few kitchen scratch scrubbers for cleaning pots and pans.

Might be right for you, wasn't right for me

There is a lot to like about this property...great back porch with the dock, large living room, quirky decorating style (mix between vintage and Asian), great communication with the host. I could see it being a good gathering place for families. Pictures were accurate though the place didn't look as well kept as it did when they were taken. But for me it wasn't a place I would stay again. Nothing major, I just didn't feel it wasn't worth what I paid. There was no paved parking or paved walkway to the house. There was a slight smell, and I had a really hard time finding light switches, especially on the stairs. A lot of things were functional but not in great condition (for example the projector worked, but had a burnt out spot that made part of the picture orange). Not recommended for single travelers like me looking for a quiet place to relax, but for larger families or two families traveling together, might be worth the price for the back deck alone.
