"A really good hostel just outside the main city of Bergen but a short walk away to bus transport and also a small Bunnpris shop for food items, etc. Was perfect for my weekend in the area, especially with even being close to the Ulriken mountain tram/path to the summit - staff were helpful with check in/out, plus the shared female dorm room I stayed in was comfortable and with a good toilet/shower room and bunkbeds. "For an expensive hotel close to the city center of Bergen, we were surprised by how outdated our room was. The carpet was worn and the room decor was very 1990s. The breakfast was very good and worth the money. We wouldn’t stay there again. "

"The room was fun unlike any other hotel I stayed in. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety and extremely helpful staff. The views in the terrace were as beautiful as Bergen is. There is no kettle in the rooms however there is one in 4th floor and also 2 microwaves which was very helpful. Towels were of excellent quality however they clean rooms only on request. Honestly that didn’t bother us. The main drawback of the room was the window covers and the lights. Although the decor is fun but not very functional. The space of the room was large with a huge table and and kitchen cabinets and 2 closets but there was no shelves and 2 hangers. We ended putting every thing on the bottom of the closets. We went in May which in Bergen has long hours of day light, the sun would wake us really early as the beds were facing the windows and the funny set up has no room between the bed foot and the wall. I think few changes can help improve the use of space and furniture. That said the people are helpful and the location is 3 min from the bus and the tram. A lot of restaurants around. Also breakfast and the staff there were amazing."

"Unfortunately the hotel chain was undergoing a strike so staff was minimal (albeit very helpful). The room was ok after a paid upgrade. Heater did not work and typical bathroom amenities were not present. Breakfast was great. Dinner was disappointing. One dish and dessert for fixed price of NOK 31. Instead of a full buffet. The hotel is in the suburbs but the tram to town was great. Be aware that there is about a 1/2 km walk to the station from the hotel. "

"Staff was friendly and polite. The strike by hotel workers has impacted the service the hotel provided. Room was clean but small. The one issue we had was the smell of aircraft exhaust in the room and hallways whenever a jet was leaving the gates on that side of the terminal."

"Stayed for 3 nights with family.The hotel location is good and close to supermarket and other amenities. It's a 20 minute walk to train station. No tea or coffeemaking facilities in room.In common area were there were facilitaties for coffee and tea,the tray was empty on a lot of occasions and when we asked staff just kept pointing at paid machine which was not very helpful. Self check in works well and also good facilities to store luggage. "
