Far too lovely

We loved our stay. Alberta is a brilliant, the breakfasts on the terrace overlooking English Harbour, swims in the pool and lounging in the hammocks it was all to die for.

Albert was an incredible host. Arca Villa is a beautiful place to stay, you have an incredible view of the Harbour and the pool area was perfect to relax by before heading out for the day.

The whole ambiance from the personal greeting of the owner/hostess Alberta to the views and decor make you feel like you have escaped to an island paradise more aligned with the South Pacific but is only 8-10minutes from English Harbor.

Great Stay!

Arca Villa was WONDERFUL - the views and the pool deck were such that I never wanted to leave, even to venture into town. Bathroom was lovely, comfortable and well appointed. People who are sensitive to early morning noise may prefer the west side of the villa (I am pretty sure my room was the only one to hear anything)

The property was amazing the fresh made breakfast every morning was superb the owner was so helpful and had a lot of local knowledge and she made everyone welcome and got all the guests it eat breakfast together so if you where travelling a lone you felt part of something so my husband and I really recommend this and it was so good we’re going back very soon

A really lovely B&B. Warm welcome. Fabulous views. Accommodation very comfortable. Nice pool. Delicious breakfast. Own transport definitely needed as it is very remote (up a steep hill!) with no shops or restaurants in walking distance. Great base for exploring Antigua.

Gem. Book it.

The villa is in a beautiful location with a great view of the Falmouth Harbour. The surroundings have a completely rural feel when you’re in the villa, yet it’s just a 30 minute walk (if you’re brave and careful) or 5 minute car ride to the many restaurants of Dockyard Road. Inside, the widespread use of waxed hardwoods makes the villa a luxurious property. The bed was comfortable, the AC quiet, and the room spacious. The enormous living space, balconies and small pool that you share, with no more than 4 other couples, makes it feel like you’ve rented a whole mansion. Alberta is a gracious, helpful, generous host, who cooks a delicious breakfast.

Arca Villa Bed and Breakfast – A Perfect Antiguan

Wow, what a find! Arca Villa Bed and Breakfast sits on a hill with jaw-dropping views of Falmouth and English Harbors—perfect for relaxing and snapping photos. Out room was spotless, with a comfy four-poster bed and a modern bathroom that felt just right. Alberta, the host, is a gem—super friendly, hospitable and full of great tips for exploring Antigua. She made us feel like I was staying at a friend’s place. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh fruit and bread served on the terrace with that amazing view. The pool was pristine and a great spot to unwind after a day out. It’s just 10 minutes by car to English Harbour, so renting a car is a good idea and what you will discover is a great spot because when you want to find restaurants to eat there are loads to choose from. This place is a calming retreat with top-notch hospitality by Alberta. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Antigua—can’t wait to come back and already miss the amazing breakfasts and friendships we have made with the guests too.

Great value and location

We loved our stay here. Sadly we only booked one night, but we wish we stayed longer. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The common areas including the patio and pool had gorgeous views of the harbor. Our host was lovely and breakfast was delicious. You can tell she really cares for the villa and guest experience. I would highly recommend for your stay in Antigua!

A beautiful home in a wonderful setting. Stunning vistas of the mountains and Falmouth harbour below. Easy drive to dozens of restaurants in historic English Harbour district, ranging from good to excellent. Alberta was a warm and welcoming host, and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts prepared by her on the terrace. Loved our stay and have already booked here for a week when we return to Antigua next year!

Amazing Place!

Innkeeper/owner Alberta was awesome. Place is awesome with the views and amenities. We had high expectations from the pictures -- it was even better than expected! Hard to get here and around without a car though. Careful driving as roads are steep and not great conditions. Alberta has great recommendations and knowledge of the island having been here for over 21 years.
