They renovated a run/down motel style property.
BUT, they foolishly left the 40-50 yr. old deteriorated, aluminum framed, single pane big sliding door / window units. They are difficult to even open so nobody was seen using the decks and patio areas outside each unit.
WORSE; By not replacing this decrepit window units you might see in a 50 year old Motel 6, the loud, continuous car and truck noise from the nearby highway that is on the window side, disturbs sleep late into the night.
I would never recommend this noisy place to anyone.
Now, with the rest of the rooms renovated, it will be a lot messier for their foolish company to tear out those big, junky door units with sound deadening, energy saving dual-pane glass, fiberglass framed units. There are probably even tax credits or at least business deductions for energy saving replacements.
ALSO: Management showed no interest in my legitimate complaint; AND, they ripped people off with a daily “Resort Fee”. I told them the highway noise ruined my sleep for 4 nights and at asked for compensation for my $770 bill, plus $11.70 per day Resort Fee. No response!
No Resort Amenities were available; even worse: they had no available bathrooms in their lobby or big restaurant! Just a smelly, temporary trailer inconveniently located in the parking lot (going outside in 98 degree heat, or in rain.
