"I am giving the benefit of the doubt with my 2 star review, hoping that those travelling in the summer can have an amazing experience - because the property is truly gorgeous. We had a wonderful first hour there, exploring the beauty of the place. It will take your breath away. However, unfortunately during our stay, we arrived to no power, no internet, no running water, and a freezing room. The power and water eventually returned. " Well run boutique hotel on part of the original de Lesseps house (the first house built in Ismalia overlooking the new canal). Beautiful throw back decoration/art ( including de Lesseps original horse carriage) in line with the historic nature of the building. The hotel staff are efficient and friendly and the hotel is right next to the amazing Suez Canal museum which has a unique collection (including the statue of de Lesseps). "
