"Room and premises spotless Staff warm, attentive and VERY helpful Shared veranda, but chairs/table are far enough for adequate privacy Bathroom beautifully renovated; awesome shower and plenty of hot water Breakfast: beautiful room with huge windows and natural light; food spot on and service exceptional Interior decor of bar and restaurant: simply class all around"

The Brentwood Waterfront Retreat

"Although labelled as a "resort" this is a B & B. the place is absolutely lovely, and the grounds are amazing with a beautiful view of Lake Huron. There are lots of places to sit, indoor and outdoor and get the great view. The heated indoor swimming pool was a joy, it had a sauna as well (didn't use it). There are lovely "living rooms" all over the house and there was an "uncrowded" feel to it. There is a walkway down to the beach, a bit of a walk, but lovely. If you want less crowded, go on a weekday, we were there a Thursday and Friday, hardly any others there on Thursday. My only complaint would be the "breakfast" offered, wasnt much, but we didnt really require it. Highly recommend this B & B as a lovely, quiet spot. Close to Grand Bend, but peaceful."

"The room and bathroom were very clean. The staff was helpful with suggestions for where to eat. The water in the shower was hot; the tv worked and the bed was a little soft for our tastes. All in all, a good experience. We would return."
