Good location surrounded by countryside. The hotel has been decorated since we last visited, which was nice to see. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The only problem is the interconnecting door which can transmit noise. On a plus side the pool is great and we found dining in the golf clubhouse a nice change. Overall a good two night stay.

Very nice stay in one of the lodges which are nice and spacious. Ideal for a family of 4, even though they sleep 8. The lounge and kitchen are great, but would start to get cramped and less comfortable, with 5 or more people. Spa and gym are very good. The restaurant area is good but the look of it could do with modernising a bit to take it out of the 90s. We didn't use the golf courses. It's a shame there are no walking routes around the land as the surroundings are dominated by the golf courses which non-golfers are not allowed to walk around. Otherwise you could imagine there would be some very pleasant woodland walks.
