"The hotel itself was fantastic. Lovely location. The few days break was spoilt by the manageress at dinner in the restaurant. What a rude and obnoxious person she is. I explained that my daughter doesn't eat a lot due to a medical issue, but when we asked for a takeaway box, she was very demanding and packed complete empathy to our requirements. She made it so uncomfortable, we paid and left. Our waiter was fantastic and apologised for her behaviour. Oh. A restaurant that serves packet Mash!!!"

"Very comfortable quiet room. Staff helpful and friendly Only issue was we were misinformed on arrival about the restaurant to have our evening meal. I asked for directions to the restaurant at reception and we were directed to the one around the corner. The meal was dreadful and not what we wanted. My husband ended up with a burger which was inedible and I ate about a third of a curry. We were not told about The View restaurant on the top floor. Next morning we went up to The Veiw restaurant and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Such a difference. I mentioned this issue when we checked out and the lady on reception was very apologetic and was going to look into the matter."

"Hotel was closed as I arrived before check in time. Don’t worry, there’s a number on the door and Erika is available. Check in process is messed up. Card reader didn’t work, wanted cash, I didn’t have any, so they said they would send payment link. They didn’t and took the money via Hotel.com which is fine. Restaurant is closed. Seems like it has been for years. Room was very clean but poorly maintained. Floorboards broken, a piece of rug was taped down over the missing floorboards, right at the entrance to the door toward the wardrobe and bathroom. I hurt my foot twice. The hotel keeps sending automated messages asking to review the stay. It’s so annoying. They won’t stop. So here is the review. Apart from Erika, the hotel is pretty poor."

"Nice reception area and a wide range of breakfast choices including a nicely cooked hot buffet. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well laid out for my stay. The shower was spacious and there were plenty of towels and shampoo, plus soap dispensers."
