"Our stay at Montebelo Mosteiro de Alcobaça Historic Hotel was exceptional. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, combining history with comfort and elegance. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed two wonderful dinners at the restaurant. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to return!"

The owner gave great recommendations for places to eat and what to see. Definitely top of list when we come back to Portugal!"

"the property was very clean and I very good condition. Rooms were were large than usual European rooms with larger bathroom as well. Staff very helpful. Free parking was a major plus and they had secured garage parking. Love the breakfast buffet. Close to the sanctuary. Would love to stay here again if I'm in Fatima. "

"Would not recommend. Our AC didn't work. Wifi did not work in the room. We could never get hot water in the shower. Many of the breakfast options were stale. The gift shop was never open during our stay. There were very few guests, yet they put as at the far end of the hallway. There were not even cold drinks or ice available until after 4pm. There are many other hotel options nearby, so I would select something different next time."

"Fantastic Hotel! We stopped by Fatima and the staff was great, rooms super clean, the best location walking distance from the Main Basilica, adorable! Highly recommended. Staff was very nice and helpful, they called a Cab for us, gave us directions, they removed all the hassle!"

Sauna and indoor pool looks great but why do you charge €15 per person for 1.5 hours Map of grounds clearly shows access to town via gate at bottom of property for easy access. Nowhere it is stated that this entrance is locked and not operational as of yet"

"I came with my parents, 86 and 84 year. My father had limited mobility and we were able to have an electric scooter delivered to the hotel. They were very accomodating when we arrived and my father was able to rest in his wonderfully air conditioned room. He was happy that he had a comfortable bed and cool room for siesta and sleeping.
