"Our stay at Bluebeards was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities in the room were more than expected and the room was both clean and comfortable. I felt that staff went above and beyond assisting us with transportation and making sure all needs were met. I would absolutely return and recommend this facility highly! "

"We had the private villa with the balcony . The place it self is nice with an ocean view. The bar is only open until 9 which is a downer but the drinks are reasonable priced. It is a 5 minute walk from the airport so no need for a taxi to get to and from which I liked. Right by the beach which was nice. You can tell the property is older but it is nice and quiet. They have cats and roosters on the property. Seem like the island is known for that, they don’t bother anyone tho. "

"Our stay at Emerald Beach Resort was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The room itself was mediocre at best, but the beds and pillows were absolutely awful—easily some of the most uncomfortable we’ve ever experienced. The bigger issue was the complete lack of basic functionality and service. The phone in our room didn’t work at all (no dial tone), and the TV wouldn’t load Netflix. "What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"

The only caution is the number of steps to get to your room, unless you have one of those along the shore. I didn't realize that when I booked the hotel - I chose this for the most reasonable price for a room with a view! "Everything was perfect at the St. John Inn! Karen was lovely and a friendly host. The room and property was clean and welcoming, and we really appreciated the amenities they offered. The free breakfast and pool was a huge bonus! Also we loved seeing Bob and the other cats on the property. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit St. John. "
