Lovely stay

Stayed for 8 nights. From start to finish felt welcome. Lovely balcony. Past the cleaner most mornings and greeted with a smile. Good breakfast. Would book again if staying in Essen.

Pleasant stay. Room was very clean and comfortable. It was facing the road so was a tad bit noisy on a Saturday evening but not unbearable. Everything you need is fairly close by. Breakfast was very nice. Highly recommended

The beds are super uncomfortable unless you have the king with the mattress pad. Housekeeping always just walks in, knock and walk in at the same time. On day of check out they opened the door at 8am and then even asked me if I want to sleep more, like obviously I’m in bed with the blinds closed.

You get a lot for the price - highly recommended!

We booked this hotel because it was cheap and to break up the long journey to Munich - we were extremely surpised to find just how amazing it was! Centre of Essen and close to town and amenities, the hotel itself was extremely clean and the beds were super comfy! Most rooms have a balcony style opening at the window and we were lucky enough to have a corner room with almost panoramic views. Staff were approachable but found not all that helpful in our experience. Breakfast was expensive in our opinion so we passed. The hotel itself was done up in a contemporary style building site look and it worked! Really the best nights sleep we had in Germany overall due to the comfortable and rather big king size bed and shower was powerful. Definately recommended. If you can find some parking on the street it is free, depending on which part you park in (look at the signs). There were also a lot of young people staying here attending the rooftop bar

This hotel is kind of very new and modern and the room was very spacious! Staff was professional and friendly. The location is great - close to a shopping mall and the public transportation. Will definitely consider staying again.

This hotel is in a very new condition, and the room is quite spacious, open, and bright. Close to a shopping mall and the public transportation. Staff are all courteous and professional. Will definitely consider of staying here again.

Große moderne Zimmer

Geschäftsreisender ist es leider so dass man erst zum Kunden macht und dein ins Hotel geht, so dass ich dann genau zu dieser Zeit eine ziemliche Schlange an der Rezeption bildet Punkt in diesem konkreten Fall war sie ja doch mit zwei Mitarbeitern besetzt, so dass der Check-In innerhalb von knapp in zehn Minuten abgehandelt war. Danach ging es dann den Fahrstuhl hoch zu den Zimmern und hier erwartete mich bereits die erste Überraschung. Die Zimmer sehen einfach klasse aus. Viel Platz, Sichtbeton und helles Holz machen einen sehr luftigen, modernen Eindruck. Soweit so gut. Der Dämpfer kam dann, als ich über die hintere Treppe zu meinem Auto in der Tiefgarage ging Punkt bereits beim Öffnen der Tür zum Treppenhaus schlug mir ein unangenehmer Geruch nach Fisch und Müll entgegen. Und tatsächlich passierte ich auf dem Weg zur Tiefgarage die Küchentür, an der ein Schild stand diese Tür bitte nicht offen stehen lassen. Oder so ähnlich Punkt auf alle Fälle stand genau diese Tür offen und augenscheinlich wurde der Ausgang aus der Küche zum wegbringen des Mülls genutzt, was den sehr unangenehmen Geruch und die Spuren auf dem Boden erklärte. An dieser Stelle also nicht mehr modern und luftig sondern eher Hinterhof Atmosphäre. Hier könnte man sicherlich eine bessere Lösung finden und Gäste Ströme und versorgungsströme besser trennen. Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel fast uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde das nächste mal auch wieder hier übernachten Punkt allerdings diesmal ohne Frühstück
