Maritim Hotel München

"The Positives: Maritim Hotel was very clean. The breakfast choices were excellent. The negatives: the entrance is an alleyway off a less than desirable street and we were less than thrilled when we first saw it. Each time we walked out, we encountered homeless persons and were often approached by beggars. There were many individuals congregating in the street near the entrance morning and evening. We did not really feel the location was safe. Also, the air conditioning was inadequate and we found our rooms quite hot at night."

"Our favorite hotel when we stay in Munich. Great location, wonderful rooms, and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is a bit pricy, but there is an awesome coffee bar in the lobby with delicious food. It becomes a bar in the evening."

"This is actually in a really nice area just a 10min bus ride from the airport. Hotel good for the price paid. Air conditioning in room though did not work. There was a window you could open however you are under the flight path so we couldn't leave the window open for fresh air and sleep. Our flight was early in the morning so we didn't get to try breakfast. They do have a restaurant/bar that does pizza, sandwiches etc, however if you walk a few mins down road there is a selection of other local restaurants, to get to this hotel from airport you can take bus number 512 (there and back). The bus stop is just outside the hotel (Schwaig am Sportplatz)."

"Room - clean, decent sized, great location (esp for Oktoberfest). Air conditioning was inadequate, and shut off on its own every 2-3 hours, even at night. Could not get temp under 23.5C/75F. Front desk was no help. Room also had a note that a flat sheet could be requested from the front desk but NO ONE at the desk knew anything about that. We were given a twin duvet cover instead. Breakfast was overpriced, eggs were cold right as they were put out."
