"Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. "This location was unusually nice. Yes, the rooms are above a pub, but it was very quiet, at least while we were there. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is a bit of a walk, down the street at the local race track, which has a very secure locked gate to their lot. It was included in the price and wasn't an issue for us. "We had a really lovely stay at Chesford Grange. The hotel itself has a peaceful atmosphere, and our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was a great place to relax. The only downside was the spa facilities, which felt quite dated and could do with some refurbishment. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. "The breakfast times could have been later, as finished at 9am on Monday. The bar was supposed to close at 11pm but was closed by 10.15pm. The rooms were basic and shower not powerful. However, were clean and still had everything that was needed. Lots of choice of food and drink and fresh."

"The property was really well located, checkin quite early, with no problem from there side. The room was really clean, bed was good, bathroom had everything and loved the shower. Tom was really helpful, informative, gave us a bit of history of the building, which was fascinating. Included Breakfast was simple, but very good, and you could have ordered from the kitchen at an extra cost. Will definitely recommend."
