"We visited Healds Hall for a family occasion. The food was excellent throughout - both catering for a large number at the function and serving breakfasts next day - having everything prepared from fresh ingredients.
The room we stayed in was obviously refurbished. With the modern amenities of a good bathroom, and the restful atmosphere of the period house, it was a very pleasant experience."
"We had a lovely couple of nights stay, it was very peaceful and secluded at the cabin which was perfect. We were pretty much left to our own devices which was quite nice, although we knew the wardens were on site if anything was needed. Lovely set of amenities provided so we were able to cook for ourselves. "We went to a concert in the town hall. The hotel is just across the road so couldn't be more convenient. Breakfast was very good. There are only 6 parking spaces which are quite tight but alternatively there is a big carpark next door. We will definitely return. "

"Friendly hosts who are very welcoming into their home. Service was very good with a wide range of choice for breakfast. The little touches are most appreciated - such as a mini fridge in the room for fresh milk to make a tea or coffee. Very quaint and welcoming place. Will certainly stay again."
