"Very quick to respond to inquiries. Well stocked fridge and pantry for self serve continental breakfast in main floor and mini fridge in bedroom. Perfect spot to visit my son at Waterloo, catch a show at St Jacobs playhouse, and visit market. Very spacious room with very comfortable bed, and ceiling fan. "

"My sister and I had a great few days' stay here - we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff and our room was ready a bit before standard check-in time, which was a nice surprise. The room was nice and decently appointed. We weren't spending much time in the room so it wasn't too important to us. Bar Mason was convenient - and the food was tasty too! Service at the bar was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend staying here if you're in Guelph."

"There isnt enough room in this message box to list the many MANY issues with this place. If you own a tent, that would be an upgrade from this place. Out of all of the digusting things and violent people next door banging around so hard my beds headboard shook, i would say the worst thing was the fact my door wouldn't lock and i only realised that in the morning. I accidently tried opening the door without even thinking of the lock and it opened. I wondered if maybe i spaced out and unlocked it...

"Good things:
Clean room, smell nice, staff is ok.
Breakfast was extremely poor and lack of options.

"The room was clean but the carpet was very old and lifting from the floor. The parking lot was in rough shape. I only stayed a couple of days. But it seemed okay. There was no blow dryer in the room. And every other place I've gone they usually have complimentary coffee in the room but they didn't have anything like that."

"I was happy overall with our stay. Breakfast was good. Love that you can have tea in the afternoon. The only downside was the outside door to our room. I thought it was a great advantage except I could not access from outside. And The parking spot outside that door should be marked for the room as well. Overall the stay was great. "

"This hotel has never let me down. The restaurant food is delicious. They offer breakfast and dinner and I highly recommend BOTH! The kitchen staff is so friendly. "The place is super old and poor maintained. It smells like cigarrete and weed everywhere. The toilet was filthy, literally. They changed the room but the smell like smoke was unbearable. It is a terrible place. The lady at the front desk was nice. She was the only nice thing in this place."
