"Lovely stay in a nice room with en-suite, loved the old furniture and beautiful bathroom fittings. Staff lovely, continental breakfast with lots of choice. Parking is free, and although it is a very small village it was nice to walk around and the villagers were friendly too. "

"Lovely hotel. Modern and lovely decor. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was well served and staff friendly and attentive. Parking outside hotel could be an issue if you don’t arrive early but we managed to park down the street and it wasn’t a problem. Would recommend this hotel"

"The staff were friendly and the area of Haddington is chill and safe for women travelers. My only comment is the building and some of the interior is a bit old but its gives it character. Plus, the staff accommodated my dietary options as much as they could which I appreciate!"

"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "
