"We have stayed here several times, and this is the 1st time I have ever had a room that was not very clean. We stayed 4 nights and never got trashed emptied or anything done in our room, that was fine except it would have been nice if anyone asked if we needed anything in all that time. We were there for a weekend and a couple weekdays and you should work on a better system for keeping food warm at the very least. Very cold eggs and sausage and the biscuits were rock hard. I would have enjoyed a hot breakfast as advertised. Even with these things, we would stay again because this was hopefully an exception to the rule."

"This is an older motel but has been upgraded very nicely. It recently was purchased and the new owner is working hard to improve the overall experience. The view is amazing. I especially liked it as it was pet-friendly in every room! Check in was automatic. Your room was assigned to you with a code to access the room. No lobby check in. There is a firepit, several grills and outdoor seating. I plan on going back."

"This is an exceptionally unique property! This was our second stay at the retreat and our only negative comments are (1) we could only stay one short night, and (2) there were no fireflies!"

"Very clean, with an excellent breakfast. We stayed in two rooms on our trip in two different towns. This was by far the nicest and best value! We even directed friends to stay there who were traveling through the next day. They were also impressed. Very well run."
