"Hotel Xcaret Arte is an absolutely stunning property. The rooms, architecture, landscaping, restaurants, and overall resort exceeded our expectations. The Xcaret parks were the highlight of our trip—beautifully designed and unlike anything we've experienced before. Staying on property with unlimited park access and the shuttle system made visiting the parks effortless and was absolutely worth it if you plan to experience multiple parks. If you're only visiting one or two parks, the extra cost may not be worth it. The only area where the resort fell short for me was the hospitality. The staff were courteous and completed our requests, but many interactions felt more transactional than genuinely welcoming. Examples included minimal greetings, a check-in staff member who became noticeably less engaged after we declined the vacation club presentation, and a waiter at Encanta whose service felt rushed and whose communication style left me feeling uncomfortable after a simple misunderstanding about my dietary preferences. Overall, we had an amazing vacation. The property, parks, rooms, and food were outstanding. I would absolutely recommend Hotel Xcaret Arte, but for me the hospitality didn't consistently match the quality of everything else."

Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort All Inclusive

"This is the second time we have stayed at this resort. This time we went with our 13 year old daughter for her birthday. Pros: The resort is clean, the staff are friendly, the security is great, there is a variety of food, and the pools are well maintained. Cons: 1 - Upon arrival, the shuttle we booked through the resort took us to the wrong location. After a long flight, the last thing we want to do is sit in a shuttle for 30+ extra minutes while they try to figure out where we are supposed to be. 2 - We booked our room for three people and even upgraded our room when we arrived, however we were only given 2 wifi passwords for 3 people. 3 - One of the nights, the resort shut down the food hall and made everyone line up and get their food outside (in July!). The food was terrible. We had to go back to the room and order room service. We would have gone to dinner, but upon our arrival there were no dinner reservations available for that night. 4 - Our shuttle, which was booked through the resort was 45 minutes late getting us to go back to the airport. We stood outside, without being contacted about this wondering if we were going to make it to the airport in time. Overall, we have loved the resort in the past. But this visit, they definitely fell short."

"Everything was wonderful, as soon as we arrived we were received with smiles and overall top service. Everyone went out there way to give the best service. Great variety in food with different restaurants. Only thing we have to say is that whoever is in charge of entertainment and organizing events, please organize your plans, schedules so that everything flows better and you don’t leave people hanging. 3 nights events got canceled with no explanation, other than that everything was wonderful. Thank you all very much!!"
