I had really high hopes for this property but upon returning to my room for the evening as soon as I walked through the door I see a roach on the floor . Then I turn the lights on and I see a roach on the sink. Due to this I cannot give this anything higher than a 2 star. Check in was great the front desk person was super nice even though she had a line through the lobby she didn’t look frantic and gave everyone the time of day. That’s why I couldn’t give this place a 1 star .

I arrived kind of late last night. I was greeted by Arline at the front desk. She was very friendly took care of me within minutes I was in my room.

We were traveling with a toddler, and were not aware that there was an adult bar attached to the hotel. Once we arrived we had to check in at the hotel that was next to the one we were staying in. We stayed in Mainstay and had to check in at Comfort Suites. I’m not sure if the lobby that used to be at Mainstay was the new “bar” or if the property was built in with no lobby. We were able to hear loud music from the first floor where we were accommodated. The lady who checked us in was very nice and even asked if wanted to be relocated but we were very tired since we had been traveling all day we decided to keep the room. It would’ve been nice to know that there was an adult bar located in the hotel, I saw that the hotel had average reviews and did not read all the reviews that mentioned the adult bar.

Everyone at Mainstay is very nice and pleasant. But the property serves a purpose - my stay wasn't bad but comfort could be improved. The property is older and you can tell, which many may not have issue with. When it came to water pressure in the shower, the sink faucets were too short for the sink, items not working (lamps, fans), these things were lacking. Bedding was comfortable, air conditioner worked great (though noisy but I'll take working well in the high heat over noise), good wifi access, nice breakfast, and tv choice. I did see a roach in the hall but no other pests or something 'gross'. I never felt unsafe as there are cameras everywhere, and there are several security features on the door (it beeps if open too long). I will note that for the time I was there, the two buildings were all male construction crews and I was the only female guest that I saw. Again never felt unsafe but could be unnerving for some people.

I was glad to get a 2 room suite. It was very spacious. Had a full size fridge. It wasnt made clear that to check in to the Mainstay you had to cross the parking lot and check in at the Comfort inn. But otherwise it was good.
